If you are a doctor, what are the differences between Cushing's Disease and Cushing's Syndrome?

Can you do it without the help of Mayo-clinic or google?  ;)

Don't you know that Cushings disease caused by a pituitary adenoma, syndrome by anything that causes high adrenocorticosteroids. (Like taking prednisone long time.)?


But isn't your question is kind of silly? Don't I know I'm a doctor, but since you don't (and can't really tell) don't you have to take that possibility into account when you read what I post? Because of that, shouldn't everything you read should be taken with a grain of salt, and if there are medical issues going on don't you need to have a flesh and blood visit with a flesh and blood doctor to get to the bottom of whatever's going on?

Seems to me that you were questioning whether or not I knew you were a doctor, weren't you? I already knew that because in another thread, you said so, didn't you? And of course Cushing's Disease is caused by adenoma and Syndrome is caused by taking too many medications with cortiso (Cortisone-like- substances), I aspire to become a doctor, don't I? You also can't get Cushing's syndrome from taking any old medicine containing cortisone any old way, but it must be... Topically applied?
