You guys flew very well, very disciplined. I'm happy I made it out of that alive.

That cloud cover made it even more special... what a blast!

So, who won that fight?

We engaged a mixed bag of I16s and Hurri IICs, with our 109Es. We got three I-16s in that engagement, we lost one guy who crashed attempting to ditch with battle damage. So that's one loss for us that I know of for sure. Myself and another had to retire with battle damage. I had most my right wing missing from one of the Hurris. The Allied pilots were 353rd FG and Killuminati and another squadron who's pilot names I'm not familiar with .
You're a member of the 353rd why are you asking you should know shoudn't you? You even made reference to the fight in another post...

With a fight like that, we all won. <S>

Came away from that frame with a smile.  What more could I ask for my .50 cents?  :aok

a few minutes into that engagement i misjudged an I-16s E and he straight up owned me in the vertical, pinged my 109 at least 20 times with no damage. i was tryin to extend into the clouds and got a pilot wound at D+1000 :x
