I just found this site:
http://www.wargamer.org/GvA/index.html It appears to be a collection of articles with references explaining armor, penetration mechanisms, and ammunition (includes raw penetration data). I've just begun to read it over, but I've found it very informative. Plus there are references to branch out from to do more research. I hope this proves to be of some use (I'm sure other treadheads either know this site or would enjoy it also).
