Someone was talking on range channel to me and left the range area. I could see hit dot enlarge as he spoke and hear him speak, I could not talk to him. He was over 25 miles away.

myself and several squadies have noticed the same thing. hearing people on range, but no one even near you in range.

Reporting the same thing on my end. I was hearing people over a sector's length away.

same here I could hear a "purple vox voice" while being 50 miles away, not different guys, just the same guy a couple of times within 15 secs from a transmission to another.  This happened to me twice yesterday.

Range, a.k.a. Room in the Radio channels, also generally means "the guys who took off from the same base".  Perhaps in this latest patch a 0 got changed to a 1 and now we can sometimes hear guys who took off from the same base no matter where they are?

same here, i heard a guy 2 sectors away, but only him and there was others that took off from the same base...

but also, there are other bugs with this new patch. you no longer hear the round hitting you if your in a gv fight and there was another one last night that i saw but cant remember what it was.
