Now I understand what's going on...the noob can't fly...he found a toy he was having fun with and now he can't even make it work to his toonville liking.

Guess it's time for the noob to find a new toy.

I ginored someone once they smacked me right in the mouth.

Not sure why it is necessary to personally attack someone just because you disagree with them.  If you like the new model of the Wrible just say so.  There is no need to make it personal.
I see that a lot on these forums. I think the turret turns to slow now too and LancStukas are lame.

Bottom line: The equipment MUST be modeled as close to reality as possible or the sim becomes a joke. Relative effectiveness or lack thereof must be dealt with through the perk/ENY system.

BTW, the WW and Osti are only the tip of the iceberg as far as AA possibilities go. I feel like HTC will add many more vehicles in the years to come, including AA options.

finally...someone gets what the debate is about.

I of course, strongly dissagree.  my contention is there has to be a healthy balance......or the company will face the law of diminishing returns in the form of much fewer new customers.......thus prices go way up.......then eventually...poof.

War in it's natural state self-balances.  In a game like Aces High, when a piece of equipment changes, your strategy must change, just like real life.

I can easily explain why there is a certain element here who does that......and why they do that.  more on that in the future.

The lower traverse speed hasbeen asked for by at least 50% of the forum community because it is historically accurate. Just think if the Wirb was COMPLETELY nerfed. Pauses every 20 rds, not being able to fire 4 guns at once for the time it takes you to burn your ammo...and you think this is bad? Please....I've started plenty of threads on fixing the wirble and I'm glad it's finally been done, at least a little bit. What if the 262 turned like an A6M and was durable like an F6F? Would that be a healthy balance to the game too?

I dont think it matters to any of us who have been here for a year or more.

my entire argument solely relates to new customers.  keep making things harder and more realistic - vs - potential new customes being turned off.

If it's a completely new customer frankly I don't think they'll know much about the Wirble. If they surprisingly do look up info on it they might find that it is modeled to it's traverse accurately and they will be fine with it. If they have no past experience with it, why would they whine about it?

for the record.......I'm not limiting my theory to just wirbs......it goes for everything here....

they have two weeks to either say "wow.......this is fun.......I'll pay for it"........and the harder you make their stay in those two weeks...the more likely they are to not re-up as a customer..... that goes for gv's, aircraft, ships........anything.

make all the improvements to the game ya want....the more the better.....but don't impede the performance of any war craft for historical accuracy sake......all the people into that are already here.

So in youre thinking a divebombing lancaster is modeled correctly?? Lancstukas are a joke and should have been corrected years ago. This has been brought up on these boards for years and film has been submitted to HTC but instead of correcting this BS problem they concern themselves with nurfing the wirble and osti turret. Sounds like they need to get their priorities straight. Handicapping the GVers in order to passify the toonplane pilots reeks of favoritism. Us as gvers deserve the same attention to our way of playing as any pilot does.
