Recording films in alternate locations
« on: September 23, 2009, 11:02:03 PM »
I wish we could assign a location for the films (and screenshots) made in AH to record to, instead of the default.

Why you ask?

1. You could automatically save your films to another computer on a network. I often take films with me to work and watch them on my work laptop.

2. You could save films to an external hard drive.

3. If you're using a SSD, you can prevent the number of writes to the drive increasing the life of the unit and decreasing the 'trim' workload. SSDs aren't really viable but in a year or two, I think they will be.

I'm not sure your reasoning will constitute having this wish granted. However, I still support the wish. :aok
