This forum is suppose to be for "off topic or less serious" posting about issues not related to AH right?

 Well i don't think that any issues, including political should be banned then. As long as we keep it civilized and an "i see it this way, you see it that way type of discussion" i don't see the problem.

You give a forum for non AH related items and let a lot of stuff slide, but dear lord mention politics or something you (skuzzy-moderaters) don't like or
the rules for the AH portion which should not apply to this section of the forum as it has nothing to do with AH,  and it's "nothing to see here" or some such.

So in a nut shell, why even have this forum if it's not for the players to comment on outside issues that concern them if your going to censor it?

Let us paying customers/players decide when enough is enough is what i'm saying really.

I guess if i throw up a picture of the political babe's boobs for the day or some such it'd make this post ok?

when I was new here........political threads were all I made.  they all got deep sixed......and in hind sight....they should have.  it's a private board..owned and operated by a private enterprise....so free speech has nothing to do with it.

fact is......especially now adays.....people get offended too easily....so it's the right thing to do.

And were O'Club discussions ever civilized when it came to politics?  Never.  It was all about defaming the character and moral worth of anyone who wasn't a hard-nosed ideologue.  I'm glad the politics are gone.  If you want to go back to what was here previously, you know where to go.

This was a very inappropriate way to try and change the tone of the place wrongway but you already knew that. Skuzzy had stated it often enough that it's not a mandatory part of the game that you be here and if you have a problem he suggested you go the e-mail route. Off hand I figure this was your way of saying goodbye rather than the melodramatic "I QUIT" message we've seen in the past. Ya don't like it here ya don't have to click on the forums. There ARE other options.
