During the summer I was living at Katama Airfield, collecting landing fees...
Flying around in my Ercoupe 415cd at dawn and dusk - fun stuff...
Don't remember the winter, must not have been that great.

Was just finishing school, prior to joining the Navy (Royal, not Merchant).

Went basic at Ft Dix in Jan. Ended up at Ft Hood with the 6th Cav Bde (Air Combat).
