Center stick?
« on: September 28, 2009, 02:07:27 PM »
Just curious.. What do you prefer, and actually use?
Center stick, (WWII style, between the knees)?  Or, side stick, (Jet fighter style)?

Just switched over to center stick... Still getting used to it, but definately like it so far!!!

I used to hold my Sidewinder and Cyborgs centrally, but after that I switched to HOTAS setups.

I like the side stick, and since the CH stick is designed after an F-16's I find it too be more comfortable as a side stick as well.

For a joystick to be used centrally, it would have to be rotated anti-clockwise for maximum comfort. This isn’t the case with most Joysticks.

Center... Don't have any room with my computer setup for side. ;)
Sometimes, we just need to remember what the rules of life really are: You only
need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the
WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

The G940 is workin good, no probs reaching buttons, feels like it was made for it...
Definately helps with gunnery, pulling lead, trims, etc,  and keeping my "Mind in the middle"...

I know, MAJOR lousy photo... But every time I get a camera in front of that big screen, the camera just goes goofy.. Tried everything to make it come out, no way, LOL!!!  Must be something to do with the LCD vs Digital cam... Its either, way overexposed, or dark... Never have been able to figure that one out!!!
