our next jappanese plane

well, since we need some new jap (go ahead, sue me) planes, i figured that these would be the top three most needed jap planes.

J2M3 Raiden: face it, folks, we need a new interceptor, the niki aint gonna cut it anymore, atleast for me. 4X 20mm cannons

Ki-43: the only thing its got going for it is it's manuverability, but its BADLY needed for scenarios. 2X 12.7mm machine guns on the type IIIa

G4M: i think that alot of us would like a new japanese "heavy" bomber. similar to the Ki-67, can hold 1000kg. of bombs. 2X 7.7mm machine guns in the nose, 2X 7.7mm machine guns in a top turret, 1X 20mm cannon in the tail section.

Ki-43-III is pretty late.  Would be better to get the Ki-43-II if just one Ki-43 were added or a Ki-43-I and a Ki-43-II.  All Ki-43s had two 12.7mm machine guns from the Ki-43-Ic through the Ki-43-IIIa.  The very rare Ki-43-IIIb had two 20mm cannons.

Niki seems to cut it for everyone else...
J2M3 or Ki-44-II would both be nice additions to the planeset.  They both climb faster and are faster than the N1K2-J, though they can't turn as well.

One thing to be aware of on the J2M3 is that it had two Type 99 Model I cannons (as on the A6M2) and two Type 99 Model II cannons (as on the A6M5b or N1K2-J), but the rarer J2M3a had four Type 99 Model II cannons.

I'm still holding out for the A6M to be updated but I wouldn't mind seeing an Oscar.

Ki-43, Ki-45, and G4M are probably the three top priorities for the Japanese plane set. This would give Japan its main Army fighter for most of the war, a heavy fighter, (which Japan lacks but all the other sets have, if you count the 110 for the Italians since they used a lot of German iron, and the various lend-lease heavy aircraft for the VVS) and its main frontline bomber. The fact that the Ki-43 and G4M aren't part of the plane set ALREADY is actually quite criminal.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Ki-43  +1   (maybe with an earlier model variant +1)

I'd really like to see the some japanese interceptors in the game!

So, bring on the J2M and while we are at it, the Ki44 too.

I'd like to see the set filled out with Oscar, Jack, Tojo, Nick, and Betty, as soon as possible.
With a couple of versions of Oscar.  :aok
