Mitsu,
As you related in the post on the Ki-84, I recently (A few weeks ago) ordered my first copy of 'Mechanism of Military Aircraft', Vol. 4 (Raiden/Reppu/Type 100 Reconnaissance plane, known to many AH'ers by their Allied code names of Jack/Sam/Dinah). That is about a 5" x 7" softbound book.
I also picked up 'Mechanic of World Aircraft', Vol 12 (The Army Type 1 Fighter 'Hayabusa', The Army Type 2 Fighter 'Shoki', The Army Type 97 Fighter, with the Allied code names Oscar/Tojo/Nate (Not sure on the last one)). This is a 7"x9" Hard Cover book.
I don't know if both of those are 'MARU Mechanics' books, but they are both superb (Although I prefer the larger hardcover due to its detailed fold out three view drawings with section details (Ideal for 3D modeling)). I highly recommend these books to anyone interested in Japanese Aircraft of World War Two.
I purchased mine at
Kitlink.
Mitsu, if you know of any Japanese online book sellers, who sell to the U.S., please let me know, as I would like to aquire more of these (If more then what are shown at the above link are available.)
Thanks.
