Awesome is my first thought. I liked the first one and this seems good but it is only the first episode.

Eh....watched it, found it boring.  It sure isn't BSG

I did, however, enjoy watching the re-run original on the ScyFy channel!  I forgot how lame an ending it had!!

I like it better than BSG so far. Couldn't stand all that "soap opera" mystery. Starback dies, she reapears, she's the best pilot, she the best sniper, she's a cylon, maybe she's not. Some drunk old fart humping cylon,flashback.....he's 25 but no make up in the world can make him look 25, he still looks like an old fart. Then terrorist becomes vice president, cancer, no cancer, lotsa cancer. Ridiculous.

Old BSG was like watching westerns (good stuff). New BSG started out good but after they settled on the planet and then reformed to jump away... sucked after that.

V will be good for anyone that didnt see it the first time around.

Yet ANOTHER remake when they should have done a follow-up instead....

I liked it overall. However, my fear is that the writers from a defunct soap opera will take over.

What I liked best was the ending and how they tracked terrorists cells and then intend to blend that into a resistance movement. Further I enjoyed the part of the priest and his warnings of devotion. Then in the end the Woman FBI agent said we are up against the worst weapon, devotion. Overall very well thought out.

What I didn't like was the teenager arguing with mom and how the ex is shallow. That is soapish but, somewhat relevant. Maybe a little anyway. There were two parts I just zapped through on my DVR. The teenager part a couple of times. It gets old. I did however paused it for the teenage girl friend/lizard.

If I had a hope, I was hoping that it wouldn't be the lizard people again. Why not bird people, bear people, bug people, or just something new entirely.

Like I said overall I liked it and will record the series.

The V chick is uber hot.  One can only hope it will be successful and eventually make it to the theaters with a PG-13 rating...you know, for the uber hot v chick to lose the top.   :x

ya know, im 19 and the original v was better than this... for the first half of the 80s version they all thought that the visitors were awesome and then began to realize the problem... its annoying that we know from the start in this one what they really are...
