How do you guys play on consoles? You use mouse and keyboard? I'd rather blow my brains out than play on the console controller.

Ugh.... I found out that you can dual-wield Desert Eagles and that the Ultra-nationalists use MTAR-21 Tavor rifles, as well as everything EXCEPT AK-47's.

The devs need to pull their heads out of their asses.

It's actually very good once you get a hang of it. I too had an awfull time on the begining, kind of like flying a remote control airplane. I'm still miles away from some online videos of guys doing a backflip and poking u in the head while u are runing around 200 yards away ... but so am I with a mouse. Playing on a console is really so much better. All the buttons are acceessible right away, without fail, your toes are on the coffee table, you are not <stereotype on>crouched over your desk, inches away from your screen.<stereotype off>.

its fun but its the same game in a different wrapper. Wont be getting the next one. Would sell this one since i just beat the game. Cool features like climbing the ice face, driving the snowmobile. Deep down though it's like a james bond game now.

Im buying an Xbox just for this game, this might be good for Aces High(less squeekers :D )

Less squeakers on a huge, first person shooter that you can play online in a room full of people? I think not.

PC rating for Amazon is cruel, these PCers are POed:
http://www.amazon.com/Call-Duty-Modern-Warfare-2-Pc/dp/B00269QLJ2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1257917245&sr=1-4

I understand their frustration, but why are they surprised that it's a console port?  Where have they been the last eight years?   :lol..

It's getting to a point now where game publisher's don't even bother with the PC ports anymore.  It's not worth the time and effort for them to do so with such small sale numbers and huge support headaches.  I don't think PC games will die out completely but it's pretty clear the selection of new games coming out each year is getting pretty thin.  All you need to do is check out your local target store where they sell PC games and you'll notice the shelf space for them is getting smaller and smaller.  Heck you can't even buy an EA sports game for the PC anymore, and all they do is pretty much rehash the same game over and over again... :)
