LOL
I love that picture!  :aok

To answer your question, manual calibration and bomber formations.

As time goes on I see a real tendency for FSO to use manual calibration. Those C.O.'s that are reading this you may want to 'brief' everyone in your squad on how to do it if they don't already know how.

Bombers will have 20k airstarts.

If we get the manual bombsight I see no reason not to include wind....

The sight will put it in a pickel jar even with 130 mph cross!

Dont know if this even possible but how about some bad weather, large cloud formations? Might add some to this high powered air battle
to get lost in large clouds.
You don't have to be crazy but it helps

Will have strong, gusty winds above 21k.

I plan on using the default winter Rhine terrain cloud file. It has just what you are looking for DH367. :)

Is this the map that was used for the battle of the bulge FSO a while back?  If so the clouds were so thick there was a furball almost within icon range and nobody knew it until after the frame.  :x

I think so branch, but not sure. Nef might remember, I think that was his design.

It is a nice looking terrain except for the rivers. They are very jagged.  :frown:

Actually, it is not the same map as last Decembers FSO.

That looks like the Rhine Terrain,  Last year we used the Ardennes Terrain. But Clouds can be made for any terrain like that.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

There should be a cloud file for that terrain around somewhere from DGS.  Brooke had several different cloud sets made up.  Check with him DadDog.

This is cool - with so many options, the CiC's choices and ride selections should have a major outcome on how each frame pans out. Good luck to whoever gets the job.

Whatever, can't wait. :x
