Batty Im sorry but that isnt whats going on here, I am completely for smack talking in this game. It has started some of the best fights and will definately make people want to get better, it did for me. Honestly calling out someones R/L in a game is worse then smack talking. Yes smack talk can go too far and you can better improve people by helping, going into R/L talk in a game doesnt help anyone or the game, it just makes the new people to the community think they should do it to.
So then, if everyone who played the game was exactly like you then you may have a case. But they are not. You would have learnt to fly better no matter what. You would have learnt to fly better if someone had just showed you the ropes in the TA/DA (which i remember doing for you and many others over the years. Infact I have learnt how to do it without even letting them know i'm helping. You want to try and DA me in kill mode, you will notice a vast change from the enoyable fights you know me for). Just because you happen to be a person who cares what other's think of them to the extent that being abused pushed you to seek advice and improve does not mean that the majority of people are built that way.
Being friendly and offering assitance is a sure way to help the vast majority improve their flying thus bettering the gameplay of AH2 as a whole. Insulting people and offering no advice other than to 'grow a pair of balls' is a sure way to make the majority of people ignore you and a very unlikely way to make them do as you say. As can be seen here, abuse only urged the person to complain, not improve. Helping them in the TA for just thirty mins would improve their flying greatly no matter if you abuse them first or not.
Even after you were urged to improve through being insulted, obviously someone or multiple people had to offer advice, spend time devoted to helping you even after the insulting behaviour. So let me ask you junky, was it the insults that forced you to improve or was it the help that people offered that did it?
One method is required to improve your flying, the other is just a shot in the dark that may urge you to come to the conclusion you need advice sooner but ultimately will make most people annoyed and lose respect for the person inflicting it on you. You work out which method is required and which method is expendable if the end desired goal is to help someone get better and flying.
Yet this is not even the main point. If X player decides they want to fly at 30k to ensure they do not die then that is their right as they pay their money to play. How about Fester, a Muppet memer, the muppet founder not less. He regularly flies 'timidly' for whole tours at a time to see what kind of kill streak he can acheive. I don't see the smack talkers telling him he is timid. So there is no equality in this attitude it is simply an outlet for insecure and inadequate people to belittle someone else because they have no outlet for their frustrations in real life that would not result in getting a beating.
Let people fly how they like. Make the odd comment about a running dweeb if you must. But constantly insulting everyone who does not fly how you desire is not aproduct of wanting to help them improve it is a product of an inadequate person.
