Post your guess (or guesses) about why Tiger Woods is being so weird about his little car accident.

My top three picks:

1.  Prescription sleeping medication gone bad
2.  Wife beat him and he drove off while already in distress
3.  Nervous breakdown and/or suicide attempt

It should be noted that Tiger has certainly learned a lesson from the Martha Stewart case...  Never ever voluntarily cooperate with a police investigation because even if you're not guilty of anything, they can pick apart anything you say and if they find any inconsistencies, they'll throw you in jail for lying to investigators even if it was a voluntary interview and not under oath.

I figure Tiger ought to make up something plausible yet simple, and go with that.  He can lie to the media all he wants.

Got into a fight with wife, and decided to take a drive to blow off steam (Lesson: Don't drive angry!); hit the accelerator with a bit too much agression.

Sounds like a drunken fight with the old Lady and then a drunken "I want attention crash/fake suicide".

Much more common then you'd believe. I worked Mids for 30 years and there is no way the guy was sober. The coppers gave him a big pass on the scene.

I spent all day Thurs. going to one domestic call after another. And that was on day shift! The nights are far worse. Add in the fact el tigre just got outt'ed hooking up with another broad?

Put it all together? Even if you dont people dont crash into fire hydrants outside their homes, at 0225 hrs on T-giving, without being at least a .16%. I dont know the guy. Its possible he could have been much higher.

As I understand he was still in his gated community and not on the open road. Thats probably why they gave him a pass. And now he's canceling "meets" with police? Can you believe it? Thats the word they use, "Cancel". :lol

DUI and leaving after fight with the wife. He's lawyered up already and the attorney is making statements on his behalf. That says something too.

If he went to a medical center for treatment look for the paparazzi to try and get into there for a peek at his medical records, especially the BAC on his blood tests.
