Audio/Text Gunner Warnings
« on: December 13, 2009, 12:55:53 AM »
We all know that in WWII gunners in B-17s would call out the positions of enemy cons ib to the formation, why not have that in-game either via audio relay or just showing up on your text buffer.

Once a con would get 3K in from your bomber you would get a signal text, or audio clip,  saying "Bandit 6 oclock high/level/low" ect. This would only show up once per bandit/per sortie of said bandit

unless adjusting for drop (f6) always on f3 just in case.  untill the last 20 seconds of drop and if you see any fiters around give them a couple of long burst even if not in range usually makes them more careful and will leave you alone for drop.

IIRC, F3 and F4 view functions are given to bomber aircraft to simulate the views that the gunners would have.
