Hey guys,

We, 308 guys that is, yesterday had some fun perfoming a kamikaze mission on one of the rook fields. Took of in heavy Zeros, announced our attack on 1 and dive for the hangars, dropping bombs and then battering hangars with out planes
Results - fhangar closed and no kills given to enemy fighters

Doesn't quite have the sense of honor and sacrifice in a virtual world....

In fact, kinda cheap.  Unless, of course, you all plan to sit out the rest of the tour.

It's not fun until you try doing that in a group. Ohh and of course, it's not fun for the guys who climb to 30+k just to get their score higher.

Gee guys, we did it for a fun change of pace from our usual Spitfire sweeps. Thought some of you might get a kick out of it.

But, I guess not....

I'm sure it WAS fun for you guys, but I would hate to see it become a "tactic" even in the MA.  Don't see much difference in flying a buff where it can't be touched, and flying a fighter that isn't gonna fight.

You're excused.

Stop being so serious, folks.    Of course kamikazi attacks aren't a "legitimate" tactic insofar as taking fields.  I can't imagine where any sane squad would actually think that diving to one's death is somehow better than a good bomb run with the plane remaining to CAP the field for a gooney.

In an evening where I rarely ran into anything less than a 4 or 5 on 1, it was nice to take out some aggression by letting loose some divine wind on A7's bomber hangar.

And my God it was fun.    Try it sometime!
