There's nothing in the Constitution that allows for secession... there was a little war about 150 years ago about that... you may have heard of it... the Civil War I think it was called?

Ah but Texas is the only State that hangs its flag at equal height with the American flag. Also its the only state that can secede from the Union. Texas also was its own country, we where asked to join the United States.

Umm, any state can secede from the Union.  there is no federal law that can not stop them to do so.

Oh, i see what he is talking about.  But any state can remove them self from the union.  Vermont what looking at removing them self from the union a few years back.
