I sent a reply to every player who I got a film from.
Absolutely true!  :aok  i sent one and got a reply, i was and am still a very satisfied customer!

Thanks for a very fun and sometimes very taxing, but ultimately satisfying game! i have not seen another that can do what this one does to either me or the players around me, and have met some very nice people while playing , as well as a few @$#----,, well some others!  :aok

Speaking your mind is never foolish.

Well this case just proved that statement wrong.. sometimes you just need to know when to hold your tongue, or at least think about what you're trying to say before you start typing.

Speaking your mind is never foolish.

There is speaking your mind and then there is just being plain stupid.

I'm sure there were much better ways for him, or anyone to voice their concerns.

it's why even when times are rough....and for me right now, i'm barley paying my bills.......i get rid of other expenses before i'm willing to give up this game.  :aok

It could have been written a little more tactfully. And maybe this wasn't the right moment for it. He got what was promised though

Technically, in your example, I believe that would be the speaking of a dumb mind, no?

There is speaking your mind and then there is just being plain stupid.

I think it's fine time to start wondering how this INcredible thread will end......   :salute

Speaking your mind is never foolish.

You must live in a strange strange world...

As evidence I present the following situation...

Six months ago, a man's wife had a baby.  She has had difficulty losing the "baby" weight that she had gained.  Before going out for their first "post baby" dinner out as a couple she asks him, "Do I look fat?"

The wise man will answer how?

A) He'll lie, "No dear, you look better then ever!"

or

B) He'll speak his mind, "Yes dear, you're definitely getting fat."

Which of those answers is "foolish"?

When we play this game and throw smack around we tend to forget that what we are doing is flying the blood and sweat of HTC. This is what puts food on their tables and therapy for Skuzzy after having to deal with tards on a daily basis. This is their life so any threat is dealt with accordingly.

Like many of you I have been flying computer sims since AW was on AOL and this is the first time I have seen first hand a hack being used in any flying sim. Unlike some online games I believe hacks/exploits are the exceptions instead of the rule here. This is one of the reasons AH is still here and thriving besides being the best flying sim. I wouldn't stick around if I had to deal with a bunch of hacks no matter how good the game was and I'm sure that holds true for most of you.

I do have to say that watching the whole community band together last night was nice except for the incessant accusations being tossed around by a few.

At the risk of being banned I do have to name one hacker and his name is..........GRIZZ!!! Cause he's always shooting me down!!! DAMN YOU GRIZZ AND YOUR 262 FROM HELL!! <shakes fist in air>   :D :D jk One of these days grizz, one of these days...I might last more then five seconds  :airplane:  /hijack

if you would hesitate to say what you're thinking to the persons face....then it's more than likely a good idea to not put it up here.  :aok

depends on the amount of beer consumed? courtesy and speaking your mind can go together.  we should all try it most of the time.

yesterday was one of the best nights i have had in ah.  no worrying about taking fields or rtb's since most fields/cv i took off from were destroyed/captured.  just pure hardcore horde on horde fiting at its best.  :rock.  like I said online yesterday You should let no one ruin your fun  :airplane: :joystick:  I am begining to think that we should wish for one night were no fields  can be taken just pure airplane on airplane or gv on gv fiting  :pray.  no eggs. no rockets no buffs, no 999  :rofl

What irked me was when they started posting URL's to their hacking website on Country channel and 200(IIRC).  At that point they needed to be chat muted.  I tried to organize a mass .report on the two guys but I'm not sure it worked because they were still yapping away about their website and youtube.  That should have been dealt with quicker and more effectively imo.  How many .reports does it take to chat mute somebody that is in blatant need of it?

If this post is not appropriate for this thread, I apologize.

Speaking your mind is never foolish.

Perhaps...but it all boils down to tact and common sense. Tossing a "FU" along with a few other insults at the person who took the time to address this issue doesn't add up to anything. My reaction would have been the same.
