Jay,

so you already got you a Monitor replacement?

I just received my DELL monthly sale paper and the following was in it

Dell ST2410 24” Full HD Widescreen Monitor
http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Displays/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=320-1070#reviews

on sale for $189.00  with free shipping ( over 200 customer reviews, alot of them refer to gaming and good results )

I was thinking about asking my Daughter to get this for me for an early Birthday gift, just undecided because I currently use a DELL 19" UltraSharp LCD which sold for $500+/- when I got it ( I got it as a perk for HVAC sales, so mine was FREE  :D )

I saw one review of a person replacing their 20" UltraSharp and was not satisfied because of the specs on the DELL UltraSharp series

thoughts anyone?

is Aces High ok with HD Monitors ?

also, I saw someone post about using Widescreen 16:10  over 16:9  ratio, saying  the 16:10 Aspect Ratio is better for Gaming, Is this correct?

I went there before I pulled the trigger and that deal wasn't there, or I would have gotten it.

Johnny, I ended up going with this one:  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236059 and I do not regret it.   People on Newegg are idiots knocking off an Egg, simply because it takes about 5 seconds to turn on from "Off".   On standby it takes only about 2 or 3.   I guess some of these people have an umbilical cord attached to their PC.
