The New 2damendment

Ladies and Gents;
  We have started the new 2A squad.  We are sad to say that 2AUtah has left the game.  We have had some bad blood between some other squads, it is over.  I am sorry that the things were said.  I am the new CO and all bad blood I would hope is under the bridge.  I am still holding the 2A name, but it is a new squad.  Most of the old 2A members have stayed with the squad.  Please do not hold anything against us.  We are a new squad.

it'll last a year, and he'll come back wanting his squad name back...and a 15 page thread f insults will ensue,. 

 that being said, i've never seen or heard anything bad about you guys in mw. were always fun to fight with/against.

We have an understanding that he can come back and fly in the squad, He is the one who wanted me to take over.  I have had fun with just about all the guys I have flown against.  I am just kinda hit hard with the amout of effort that is involved in being a CO, even if it is a virtual game, it is still effort, the squad expects things from you.  THumbs up to the guys that have been doing for a long time.

I don't know what kind of bad blood may be between other squads.  All I'll say is I've never had anything but good fights and good sportsmanship any time I've encountered the 2As.

I like your website and admire the squad structure.

I'm wondering about the squad identifier prefix you and other squads use for your members in game handles.

Some potential recruits may have very specific reasons why they chose their name and would not want to alter it in any way.

Squad affiliations are plainly seen on the roster and in the text buffer etc, and if you wanted further identifiers, perhaps issuing a squad avatar or signature for the BBS upon acceptance into the squad might be another way to instill squad pride.

Not a criticism, just wondering what your thoughts are on this.

Do you A2 folks still use an external vox program?

I understand that alot of folks would not be willing to change their callsign. 

Yes we do use an external VOX, we use ventrillo, for us it helps keep us off of the 200 chanel and also, we can hear better while in game.  It is easier once you get it mapped.
