The only thing that kept the Americans in the game was the goal tender. Btw, Wilson was born in Canada.

Same could be said for Broder ... had he not had the game he had ... USA would have pummeled Canada.

You got to be joking. Brodeur made 2 booners that cost Canada and put them in catchup mode. Besides Canada out shot USA 45-23.

Out shot them and still lost  :headscratch: maybe they should of taken less slapshots and more quality shots eh?  almost twice the shots and still lost  :cry    WTG!!! USA

  The game was a let down for Canadians for sure,but this is a tournment and it only means they haven't got a "by" in this next round.

 The Russians have a good team too,I'd say Russia, USA and Canada as the medal winners,what order depends on who has the best game at the right time!

I have to say though, just to have the U.S team beat the Canadian team, and have it happen in their own country, was worth more then Gold to me as a fan.

Are you really that clueless? A shot on net is only counted if the puck would hit in the 4'x6' of the net. Miller saved the American asses.
