Great game, longest overtime in Olympic history. Well done Canada.  :salute

To the US team who had such a heartbreaking loss. You did good guys.  :salute

Good game all around, both teams ended with the same record, just unfortunately we won the first game.

------->   NOW  <------- they know who's game their playing.  Great game, ended way better than if Canada would of scored on an empty net with less than one minute left in the game.  :aok

Lol, yeah they sure showed us.  Canada barely won "their" game.

With the talent you had, you should have had a 25-3 goal differential through the tournament.  As it is, you barely beat the Slovaks (if Dimitra doesn't whiff in close, you're watching at home) and allowed every team to come back and either beat you outright (US) or need overtime.  The only team Canada BEAT was the Russians, who were obviously too uppity as individuals to play as a team,  as usual for them.
(Germany and Norway don't really count... with maybe 6 NHL players combined...)

Way to prove it's "your" game.  LMAO...can't forget needing a shootout of 9 frames to beat the swiss....

Great for you.  Must be even more rewarding to know you almost lost.

To say "they know who's game they're playing NOW" is just ludicrous.  You hung on by your fingernails the entire tournament, with the most stacked roster that walked through the door.

I see the sour grapes has started. :x

If the Yanks had won, Canadians would have had the loss rubbed in their faces to no end.

Not everyone is like you.

:salute Canada and U.S.A. for a great game. I think Gold and Silver for the men and the women says a lot about North American hockey :aok

I gotta chuckle at both sides when they trash talk... who cares? It was a great tourney and a great final... the closest one in recent Olympic history. I'm very happy Canada pulled through but the US team was superb and I'm glad each team met in the final. Congratulations on the silver.  :aok

Wilson/Burke made a great impression in the tournament with the team they brought together and coached... wonder if they'll ever get that same success with the Leafs.  :rofl
