Oil damage

Any idea when the oil damage problem will get fixed?  Fps goes to 0 and the game becomes a slide show. When in base deffence, there is always a fire or a plane takibg oil damage in the area so yes, depending on how you play, it can happen a lot.

Are you trying to say you are having FR issues even if someone else has the oil damage? That makes very little sense to me, I have never had that problem.

I do. It happens occasionally, mostly in a furball on the deck when someone else is getting an oil leak. Result: About 3-4 seconds of stuttering.
But as it doesn't happen all the time, I unfortunately wasn't able to narrow it down yet.

That's what i'm getting. Keep looking for spyware calling home but nothing found.

ahh I see. I never noticed anything like that, the only time I ever get FR issues with oil damage is if I'm the one with the leak.

Had this happen last night.  Was in the middle of a large fight for a base, everything running smoothly.  Fired at a plane and gave him an oil leak.  Suddenly FRs went to about 10.  Didn't associate it with the oil leak at the time -- but I was quite annoyed at the time that my already poor gunnery was made worse by the FRs and consequently my kill got away.

I get a FR hit if I am on someones 6 and they have an oil leak. Since I shoot from very close distances not only am I flying in the smoke, my FR can get choppy sometimes.

In a 1vs1 duel, had this same problem when i hit the oil of my opponent. FPS dropped from 40-50 to 15-20FPS for about 3-4seconds. My opponent said he was lagging too. Happens sometimes in the MA too but in a year and a half of AH, I only saw this problem 5 or 6 times.

Have this problem too but I thought it was leaking fuel/rad hits that was doing it.
