I think I found a source of hall sensors, they are going to call back and confirm that they have them in stock.
this gave me an Idea, I may start making and selling custom built full length fighter sticks. ( I could coustomize them from any stick on the market, wonder if there would be a demand for such an item?

I'd buy one for sure!, I keep toying with the idea of attempting to extend the handle on my warthog, but think it's best left to the professionals (subscribing to thread, as i'm sure there will be demand for them sheperd)

Shep if you can pull that off you might be onto something for sure. There are a bunch of guys over at SimHQ that would likely pay for that sort of setup. I myself might find a need for an extension for my Warthog IF I ever get around to building my pit.

well I got my magnets and hall sensors in. The halls are not exactly what I wanted but in the US I can't find the A1323EUA-T wich is 2.5mv/G and settled for the less sensitive 5mv/G untill I can locate a supplier in the US that has the allergo A1323EUA-T.

I had a U-Joint that would have been perfect out of a NASCAR steering shaft but I managed to mess up a bering and they are not made to come apart, as they are rated for high speeds so there is no replacement bearing...could buy a new one but they are $50 each...searching for a new U-joint....will keep you who are following this thread posted.

If he doesn't, send me some prints (drawings on a cocktail napkin are fine)

I'll see what I can do  :aok

Just an update, I have been working on a MOD to my rudder pedals using hall sensors and have had issues  :bhead
would love to hear from someone who has used hall sensors in a MOD.

Now that is nice.  Our screen would be nice add on.  Did you build this yourself.  Maybe we can work on fitting our screen to your pit.  Have a look at what we have at www.vcsims.com. Would like a discussion with you to looking at this.
