Make a semi-hangar queen into a popular aircraft...

And give the B-25H AP shells  :aok
Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
Apparently I'm in the 20th FG 'Loco Busters', or so the legend goes.

Won't say no to AP however it will always be a hangar queen to some extent since the addition of Wirbels.

I think it's even more so because of the more maneuverable, better armored, cuts-like-a-knife-through-butter 37mm Il-2 variant ;)

The B-25H is the only plane capable of taking any GV out with one hit from beyond effective return fire from the GV.  The B-25H is certainly not a hanger queen in the MW arena where it's regularly used as a tank buster to great affect.  With the AP rounds, it will just be that much more lethal at stand off ranges that no other plane is capable of against GVs in AH.

+1 It would be nice to have the AP rounds for that cannon.

Even though 1 HE round can already take out almost every tank we have. I know for sure it will kill a panzer, M4, T34-85, M8, M3, and jeeps with one well placed hit in the rear.

Asks Lusche to post data of kill rates of B25H before & after Wirbel please. EDIT:--> Also if you could since you made mention of the IL2 Lusche in your above post some stats on that as well in regards to B25H usage. Thankyou.<--EDIT END. As far as your post above ^^^^ I agree with you except I don't think it is used as much as it once was from my personal experience.

Though his charts are rather interesting and provide good information they only pertain to the LW arena since he does not factor in any of the war era arenas.  While the B-25H might see limited use in the LW arena, the same cannot be said in the MW arena.

Just to show B25 use in MW, where it is not a hangar queen by any means:

Plane:       Kills:   Deaths:   K/D:

B-25H       369     569        0.65
Il-2           382     367       1.04
Wirbelwind 1572     891      1.76

Wirbelwind is responsible for 89 of the B-25H deaths (5.662% of WW kills/15.614% of deaths of B-25).  84 for the IL-2 (5.344% of WW kills/22.8885% of deaths for IL-2).  B-25 kills on Wirbel accounts for 7% of the total B-25H kills. Doesn't look like Wirbel has hindered it's use for MW much.
Top 4 killers (not including gunner) in MW are: Panzer (1997), WW (1572), Spitfire Mrk IX (1165), F6F-5 (1130).  B-25 ranks at #20 in kills, Il-2 is #19 of 70.  Il-2 doesn't quite dominate as the GV killing king in MW, and the B-25 isn't far down the list of overall killers.
Lw B-25H has 2662 kills (#45) compared to IL-2s 9101 (#13) (~97 planes in LW)...not the best numbers for the 25, but like many other planes in LW it's not used because most want "The best" (not saying everyone does, but it's generally the truth), as seen the IL-2 is used more in LW, likely due to hitting decently and being able to hold its own; where as the 25H hits hard but can't hold well against planes.  I could call the A6m2 hangar queen and who would care, maybe 10 people, some planes just won't get much use in Lw.

As for the wish for AP rounds, if we can get them (if they meet inclusion needs)...I say let's get em sometime.  HE works wonders (kills anything it can hit), but anything to add to the B-25H is a wish I'll like. :)

Thank you for the stats personally I want rockets over AP.
