Look at it this way in BC2 your K/D ratio is not what you need to be concerned with it's your W/L ratio.  People need to learn that if you are spawning on a lone recon in a good area, they need to crouch and head out of the area mo riki tik and not draw attention to yourself.  Plus it's good that if you spawn in as recon to drop an ammo box for the fella.  On that note I wish more people would drop their freakin ammo boxes.  That is by far one of the more annoying things your team can do to you.

I can't seem to do anything right...constantly getting plugged in the head by unexploded 40mm nades (which is what they should have fixed, a ghey game-the-game move from COD)
Can't hit jack with a sniper, seems my XM8 or XMB whatever is a worthless gun even compared to the pistols...put 4-5 rounds into a sniper, he turned around as I was putting 8-9 more into him and he two shotted me with a 1911...think I'll stick to AH for a bit.

Don't know about Ruskie 40mms but US have to make 3 complete rotations before they arm.  It just depends on whether it is a high or low velocity*(The M386, M397, M397A1, M406, and M433 rounds arm within 14 to 27 meters (46 to 89 ft). The M361 and M441 rounds arm within 2.4 to 3 meters (8 to 10 ft)).  I wouldn't even want to think of what a getting hit with one before it armed would feel like.

Hmm...oh well.

Another thing I don't get is why/how guys can hold the trigger down and unload a clip w/o losing much accuracy...I have to shoot in burst if I'm to shoot more than 20-30ft away to get hits...

Guess I need to get off the free for all style games and play some squad rush. Anyone gonna be on tonight? Be cool to get some guys together and do some squad rush.

just got it to rent for my xbox 360. Graphics are amazing

So is there not a offline split-screen multiplayer? All I can find is online multiplayer but I want to be able to play with my friends 1 on 1. Thats been a feature for every combat game since Goldeneye 64, I cant believe that they wouldnt include it!

Shotguns are way too underpowered as well...im sorry but a slug to the face would kill someone, not tickle their fancy.

Yeah, it feels like I have to put a whole magazine into someone to get a kill. While my aim is probably a contributing factor, I feel like it takes a few too many bullets sometimes. I try to play on the hardcore servers where bullet damage is increased and no silly killcam, among other things.

I was looking for HC servers, all I played on cOD4 and COD5. Silly that it takes 10+ bullets to kill a guy.  I was standing in a window and 3 guys were by the charge diffusing it, all looking away. I opened up and went right to left, I killed 1 guy and had to reload my gun... :huh

Just wait till you get the magnum rounds upgrade people tend to drop a little faster.   :)

I'm not positive when the upgrade/specializations appear, I think they are tied to general progress/rank.  I believe they are universal upgrades that you get regardless of what kit your using at the time.  There's probably a website someplace that says when you get which ones.

I've spent most my time in the assault kit, and I agree I didn't care for the FN2000 much.  The loss in stopping power and accuracy weren't worth the trade in rate of fire IMHO.  I used the XM8 for a long while at least until I got the M416, which I then ditched in favor of the M-16 which is the last gun unlock and my favorite.

There are several guns that once you get the stars you need from them you probably won't touch again.  The FN2000 is one of those.
