My guess for the tanks is some sort of water/methanol injection system?

That white plastic looking container is bound to hold water, the allow looks too small for fuel.

Well lets have a look see,

The first one on top must be C-Stoff, and the second one is T-Stoff. No wonder niki is so good in vertical, cant belive we all missed it before!

 It is a N1K2-J the tanks in the pic(s) are for oil(furthest forward),hydrulic fluid(the smaller upper one),The lower tank is for Methanol.
