Hardware, fasteners aand tools at wholesale cost price. Doesn't sound like much but it saves a lot of money whenever I need to build or fix anything.

My biggest perk is seeing the scantily clad females in their cars driving down the hiway.... At times like now I enjoy a good traffic jam

I take that back.  I have one perk, free piddle-packs so I can pee while flying.  This is normally not a big deal but it might save me a lot of money in the future.

The unions hang rats outside my jobsites, subcontractors constantly find excuses not to work, customers find ways to twittle you, architects draw impossible designs yet expect it to be built.

The sole perk - I have a job.

My job has given me the opportunity to learn how to operate a welder, an oxy-acetylene torch, earn a CDL with HazMat endorsement, learn a lot about basic mechanics on both gas and diesel engines, learn a lot about the ins and outs of agriculture, learn how to operate a forklift, and many other small but important skills I will carry with me through the rest of my life.

More traditionally I have access to commercial grade fertilizer and herbicides at a cheap price, two company phones, clothing allowance, access to company trucks, and a cool boss.
