If you're basing that on the fact the Ka-1 was modified to carry a small depth charge for ASW missions, then the Fa 223 would also be considered a combat helicopter as it was armed with machine guns and could carry a small payload of bombs or depth charges.Don't think either of them actually dropped bombs or depth charges though. The Japanese Ka-1 was mostly shore based as the carrier intended for the Ka-1 was sunk before it was commissioned. The Fa 233 proved itself as a valuable workhorse transporting men and supplies.ack-ack
