that made the Motown Sound not the recording Artists. The Artists themselves will tell you that.
Many of The Funk Brothers are in the R&R Hall of Fame as sidemen. I believe because of the impact they
made as Musicians on the Recording Industry they should be admitted together. Unfortunately most have
passed away.
View this movie or documentary if you can. You will see for instance why many of us feel James Jamerson
is the best Bass player ever. They were an incredible group. The movie is very entertaining. View it if you can!
