I wouldn't say WB is dead. It has a strong community keeping it alive, even if somewhat diminished.

I would say it is less desirable and less fun than AH, though.

So, is WB free to download and can I play a couple weeks for free?  I grow tired of all the great things HTC has created for me in Aces High II and want to see what others think is "good".

if you go to the fa forum and follow the links you might be able to scam yourself 60 days, but honestly its just a distraction and kind of dinky.

Sounds like they are going to warbirds how is that game?

Put it this way...there are a couple of aircraft there that we don't have here but...if you don't mind flying under trees that look like q-tips hanging 50 feet off the ground...1997 skin graphics (unless you pay extra to see the good ones)...IL2 fm's and a game that is using programming code from the late 90s and hasn't progressed since it's creation...then WBs is a good place for you to spend $20 a month.

As of right this minute the arena list shows 71 people in the main arena...that probably includes a few "trial period" people.

I have not heard of warbirds, FA or AHII till 2005 when i saw a commercial of AHII.  Since then it has been AHII and now heard of the other two.  AHII seem to have a clue on how to develop the better gaming system and advertising it.  I feel that Hitech and crew will continue to better the game.
