Wanted to see them live for many, many years, and finally got my chance in 2003.

Was one of the worst concert disappointments I ever had. Very sad.

I have always wanted to see em.  Only been able to go see AC/DC and that was AMAZING, they sound 20x better live than on disk.  And Angus Young's 15 min solo was amazing lol.  Was gonna go see Tom Petty in May in Oakland, but the tickets are like 149 each for good seats.  Either way we need to teach the kids what real music is, not this new garbage.

When I was young, I heard exactly the same stuff from "old" people about AC/DC and other bands ... "new garbage"... "no music anymore, just noise"...

Lol, well some of these bands are just horrid, like 92% of kids listen to hiphop/rap now, and not the classic stuff.  Personally I HATE rap/hiphop and wont listen to it.

"That is just noise", Yeah I remember hearing that too... Older gen folks burning and breaking records in protest of the devils music.. Ah yes, I remember the Knights In Satans Service thing too, lol!   I suppose that's how it goes in life..
I cant stand thrash or rap either...

The greatest thing about classic rock, (mid 60's to mid 80's) is that you can cherry pick the best tunes, from the best bands, almost FOREVER!   Such a huge amount of material, and it NEVER gets old!

There's a lot of really good music that is still be put out today, personally I just don't think anyone is going to find it on most radio stations.  There's tons of good music that was put out in the 90's right up till today it's just sitting there under the gloss of top 40 radio.

Sure, I agree with that.. The Melvins, Corrosion of Conformity, The Cult, all made good tunes, some of my favs..
Have Black label Society playing right now.. Who knows what is next, but it will ROCK THE HOUSE, no doubt, lol!

My son says, C/W should be banned as part of an inbreeding prevention program,
