So in theory, each squad could have its' own 'home' arena set up to their preferences and other squads/individuals could (and presumably would) come over for a party?  :rock

Where else can you get that? Something just happened under my keyboard tray, for once I'm hoping it was the dog.  :O

Just exactly what HT said, user configurable arena's.

He hasn't stated yet how big they will be.
Personally I'm hoping he'll have a small size for everyone. And a somewhat larger size for those willing to pay extra for it. Like 32 player limit vs 8 - 16.

You will have to be an AH subscriber.
You will go through the AH Password server.
They will be hosted on HTC servers. So they maintain control, prevent them from being used for hacking, etc.

If you "hosted" one, you'd be able to choose the terrain, set the arena parameters.
Everything from radar range to icons on/off. In short the keys to your own mini main.
OK I get it now could not make sense off of the post as I did not see the original post & now you have filled in the blanks for me.

As I said previously our next big task is to bring up user spawned arenas where they have control of all. So that will be a good venue for what you ask.

Ok then. I guess I'll keep my account active :)

Still, an Allied vs CP arena would be good to have before the user spawned arenas become reality.

I got many custom terrains just waiting to be used.  This is very exciting for me.  I really missed H2H when it went away.  Good times to come.

I gotta question how is this all gonna work?

Any subscriber can have one? Can HTC really host any number of them?

Sounds to me like empty main arenas and 100 or more sparsely populated player arenas all competing for players.

The AvA in many ways serves as a trial arena. But what do you wish to try? Arenas are really not that big of deal to create, but there must be a purpose, plus if it was an idea we thought would work, we would most likely try it in the LW.

Would this controll inclued the ability for user made maps to rotate if spesific mission peramiters were met?
