B-29, how original. Remodel those bombers, then give us an A-26 Invader. It's easy, Take the A-20, make a few tweaks, add a belly turret and sit back as we all recall AW days.

The A-26 we could definitely use, but it would probably end up being lightly perked to help keep the A-20 in use.

Not that it matters much, but I count four Axis aircraft with bombsights, Ar234, B5N2, Ju88A-4 and Ki-67.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.  Should be plenty.

I strongly disagree with that and I can name many Axis bombers, and fighters, I would be very happy to see.

i'm not frustrated, but just looking at this realistically. They just redid the airfields and the runway length is still the same. You need to drastically increase the length of the long runway in order to have a chance of taking of the B-29. I'm guessing they arent going to be redone in a long while.

what if they make certain runways longer closer to hq and also perk the b29, that i think would work

you can argue against  it all you want, but the B29 has as much right to be in this game as the lancaster does.

The runway issue with the B-29 could be got round. The longest AH runway is currently about 7,400 ft long and a fully loaded B-29 needed a 8,000 ft run at sea level. However AH could restrict the fuel for the B-29 in the MA to say 50% and spawn it from diagonal runways only to let it get off. Can't see why anyone in the MA would want more than 50% fuel in that thing anyway.

Alternatively they could add a runway object to the MA that would extend one of the runways of one or more airfields per side to two miles. That would mean reworking all the MA terrains to extend the runways however.

I don't think the runway issue is the main problem with the B-29 anyway. It would unbalance the MA unless you put a huge perk price on it. Personally I would rather they added some sort of slow early war bomber like a He 111 to help balance early war scenarios.

Not really.  The Lancaster served for much longer in much greater numbers and required much less art work to be added to the game.

I have no problem with the B-29A being added, but spouting uninformed fiction is silly.
