I can see now that all the haters on this thread are just furball-ikers who just wanna hate on a base taking squad.
<S>
No, it's not that at all man. I go from strictly furballing to base taking scorepotato mode several times a year and I understand both sides of each school of thought.
But what I don't understand is, #1 why on earth would a CO of a squad want 120 members, and #2 why do so many people feel the need to be part of nothing more then a mindless mob.
I personally enjoy knowing that if I'm on a mission with my squadmates, each man has a job to do and if we don't do our individual job, the success of the mission will be in jeopardy.
Being in a squad with 15 more guys behind me on standby to do what I failed at, is not something that would push me to improve my game. The pressure of knowing I must do my job right the first time is why I practice all different aspects of the game.
IMO the biggest part of the players in a mega squad have no desire to improve. They just merely join to be in a squad and nothing more.They only want to be able to say "hey I'm in a big squad". They don't know yet that the BIG squad equals BIG suckage, because there's 50 more on the roster with the same mindset.
If you ever have the good fortune to be in a squad where 1 or 2 guys can hold a base capped while you take the town down and another brings troops, you'll know what I mean. I can depend on any of my squaddies to get a job done by himself. They don't need 7 wingmen to take out the ord. Those are the players I like. And the squads I respect.
Nasty Deadmen are recruiting.
