Vulch
« on: May 09, 2010, 06:58:44 PM »
What is the point of vulching besides ruining the game for everyone if its not picking its vulching.Thats all anyone does no one in this game has the balls to come and fight.I would love to see a perk price on the vulching and pickings.I mean if im not that old to this game and i have the guts to come and fight i know there is alot of people who have to be total wussies.

...ruining the game for everyone

Are you in fact speaking for everyone? You choose to try taking off from a capped field. You could choose to take off from an adjacent field. The arena(s) are big enough, you could choose to play elsewhere. You could choose to get a group together and bust the vulch. There are many alternatives.

Okay, I'll go along and ask.  How do you propose they decide how to charge for vultching and picking? They are two tactics that are here to stay, get over it and learn to beat it.

Yes but then again they end up with capture and cap then when it does pop they are hovering over town,as soon as fh pops they fly over to vulch. And either way go in from another base or not your going to die eventually. They will just jump you.

Absolutely
1) Anti-aircraft GV, either from that VH or from a spawn into it.
2) Fly from another field.

Well then, let them have their little victory.  Go elsewhere and have fun doing something other than complaining about vulching.

Well it just seems like a quagmire to go off and just leave a base almost totally defenseless.

Neg. quagmire=muddy area.

And how do you propose the system decides whether or not the kill was a vulch, or pick?

It's a game.  You get to choose how, when and where to play.  Sounds like you need to take a reality check.  If it's no longer fun, just quit for a while.  I've been on the ground at a capped base where the vulch light was lit...it's fun for about 2 minutes trying to up to bust the vulch.  After that, I decide to quit padding their score and move on.

A true vulch is where they take down all the ack and circle looking for easy kills.  They don't have any plans to capture the base and have not even touched the town.  Base suppression it the same thing, but they are also taking down the town to prep for the capture.  In either case, when it stops being fun for ME, I move on.  Why whine about it or ask HTC to change the game just because you couldn't figure this out all by yourself?
