ASUS AGP-V7700 DELUXE GeForce2 AGP4X VID ACCEL 32MB DDR for $279.95 from http://www.atacom.com/

This was after I read the reviews at Tom's Hardware in particular the article on the ASUS V7700 Geforce2 DELUXE and his other article ASUS V7700 Geforce2 Pure

I used http://www.ibuyer.net/3d-unlimited/prod.html?id=500116&s=P to find the best price.

I'm hoping this will compliment my
P3 733EB
ABIT VA6 VIA 133FSB
128meg o 133mhz RAM

better than the Viper2 32meg vid card I have now, plus it may allow me to up my FSB speed to 140mhz or even 150mhz

My intent is to make some AH mpegs or AVIs, add some tunes to em like BRENDO did and then convert em to Realplayer format to save download bandwidth. I'll send a link to em as soon as I get the card up and running, and the videos made

Yup... Expect to see Geforce prices dropping with the appearance of the Geforce 2 MX (same speed as a Geforce SDR but with extra rendering features - and HEAPS cheaper) and Geforce 2 Ultra (this ones about 40% faster than a Geforce 2 GTS).

Has the Geforce 2 FSAA (full screen anti aliasing)?

I thought the Geforce one had and was disappointed to learn it didn't.

Now am thinking of a new card

I am very curious how the 3D glasses are working in AH - is that functionality supported and how do you like the view if it is?

Sorry Westy, I was premature in putting up the link.........I've attemtped to upload the file twice (17meg) and both times got whacked , just before it was done.

Haven't tried the 3d glasses with AH yet, to be honest, my wife sez' I look like a geek (read that as UBER-dweeb) wearing em, with the headset for my mike and sittin in front of my Saitek, and rudder pedals..........That's one video Ya'll will never see.................

Got my new Videocard day before yesterday.
Uploading my VERY FIRST FILM

The quality needs some work....but as this is my 1ST attempt, I'm learning as I go.

This is just a shorty, an example of things to come....Hopefully....like I said still playin with settings, formats, sizes etc.
