cruiser gun barrels missing

since the update several of the cruiser turrets are missing their barrels:

I think HTC may be interested in your settings, because I for example just hopped onto several TF's on two different maps and never had any barrels missing at all.

hires tex and all eye candy on except self shadow
textures shouldnt be a problem, tex count was 0.



I can do a DXDIAG if its needed.

Makesure when u in the game u hit shift F1.  In the text buffer it should say Full range or something like that.  Then check to see if the guns are still there.

I'd just finished a GV sortie so had switched back from ground range to full range (or whatever they're called).

i was seeing missing gun barrels in 2.18.8 from certain angles, so i dont think its due to the new patch

I have no problem getting this via Options->Preferences->GUI->Message Window Transparency

Noticed the same thing on the 2nd 8" turret while manning the bow dual 5" of the cruiser.

Looking at this I will note that I don't use the hires pack and thought I had turned it down to 512.
