3D modeling on the F4U's
« on: May 21, 2010, 07:29:47 PM »
My request to HTC is that they 3D model the F4Us soon, they look nice but need work.+1 if you feel the same way.

The question i might ask are you blind or simple.

LOOK at the thing in F3 view the engine is poorly modeled, the cowlings are poorly modeled.Compare the Mossie next to it.

what type video card and what settings are you running?

the F4U series is by far more better than the old original octagon design or stop sign looking designed Nose they used to have......

could be just your inability to see them in 1024 textures with Higher screen resolutions of 1280 X 1024 or more and anti-aliaising or other filters turned on/used

The F4U's are fine

All of it is important; most of it vital; and all of it just too much for one brain to absorb in 1-2 lessons" TC

I'm neather, but it sure looks as if you're one or both. I have looked at the external view. I do with all planes when they are remodeled, and the F4U was one of those remodeled planes. Now take a look at these AH1 modeled planes when they are compaired to the F4U and tell me, which one really looks like it needs an update.

Your using a different vid card.

Because your video card isn't capable of running the game at better resolutions, HTC must fix the 3D models to compensate?

As someone mentioned, you just can't fix stupid.

And here I thought the F4U had the nicest model in the game, inside and out, go figure...
