5" and 8" Gun splashes
« on: May 27, 2010, 09:53:57 PM »
Can something be done to improve the "splashes" the HE rounds make when they impact the ground? Right now they impact and throw up enough dirt to cover a golf ball if you can see it at all. The way they are now, its hard to adjust fire onto the target when you're looking for a spit ball at 10K yards. The 8" impacts are much better, but need to see more "hang time" of the dirt. Otherwise, seeing some good improvements so far. Keep it up.

Can we put dye on the 8" shells so we can tell who's splashes belong to who when they hit the water?

Please and thank you to both larger splashes and multi-color.

I've noticed in the last year ranging targets seems harder. With the current graphics it's hard to tell if you are hitting before or after the target.

PS. I like the idea of dye. The Japanese used dye for their anti-aircraft navel guns. I think I saw this on Battle 360.
