Met Cheese at last
« on: June 10, 2010, 07:38:31 AM »
Met Cheese for the first time last night.  He's very good.  Two excellent fights, he beat me in both (I know, I know, who doesn't, but you can tell he's good anyway).  Don't underestimate these Fighter Ace people.

<S> Oldman, and thanks for the kind words, even if they are not true.

You may have just slandered yourself LOL - folks are going to find out how BAD I really am and question your truthfulness!

Anyway, fun fights - thanks for helping me learn the KI-84.

Lol - there used to be a 'mouse' over in FA.  We had a pretty good time shooting each other down.

Robert Shaw was known as mouse in the Navy and used to fly Warbirds under that handle.

he also was on the Training Staff at Fighter Ace, if I am not mistaken, using "mouse" also..... as well as here and back in AW.... if my memory serves me well.....

I imagine he flew all of them. Great for him and the producers of the games. Wonder what he is up to now.

AH vs FA.  Has all the traits and animosity disguised as friendly banter among friends.  This has all the makings of a Red Sox's vs. Yankee's, Red Skins vs. Dallas, or Texas Oklahoma rivalry.  God you have to love it.  Welcome all to the world of Fun and Games.  Salute and a big Horrido to all.

P.S.  Hey Cheese was it you that I ran into in the Early War Arena where we flew around for God knows how long looking for a fight?  I see you finally found one.

I was on the FA training staff as well and know Mouse - and he's not Robert Shaw...guaranteed!  LOL

Anyway, my 2002 Gaming PC died last week and went to PC heaven...

It'll be a week or two till I do the research and get a new one built, so I won't be online.  I'm using my an old Dell and a laptop to stay in touch on the forums, etc.

OK - got my new kick butt PC up and running and all is well.   Maybe the new GPU will make it easier to see the dots in AvA.

I have AH loaded but I need to call HTC/Carrie Monday to get my sub worked out and over onto my new PC, and I still need to load my Joystick drivers.  I did manage to copy all my settings from my old PC so I won't have to go through that again.

Since I haven't flown in over 2 weeks, I'll be easy pickins' when I get back later this week. (Not that I wasn't already...maybe I should say 'easier' pickins').
