Audio Switchbox
« on: August 22, 2001, 01:47:00 PM »
Has anyone seen a switchbox that can switch back and forth to/from a set of speakers and headphones. This wayI  dont have to go tho the back of my computer and disconnect one and connect the other.

Could a "T" connection be used in this case??

Thanks :)

Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.

How about this? http://www.electronicsusa.com/mk5.html

I don't have one but I don't see why it wouldn't work fine.  At $22 it's kinda pricey though.  You might make your own switch for cheap using a few bucks of Radio Shack stuff.

Or you could buy a splitter cable for less and just switch off the speakers when you dont want to use em.
