You have Combat trim enabled.
'Ctrl X' to disable

It can be disabled for every flight via the Preferences>Flight menu, as well.

disable as in no "x" in the box?  yes i do.
What is dose is if i want to go up, the trim starts moving up.  If i go down, the trim goes down as well.  It seems it responds to my "x" axis (elv).

That is what is supposed to happen.  It is like that with or w/o Combat Trim on and is what happens with everybody.

You just started NOTICING it last night.

I upped in the TA and with combat trim on or off when I nose up the elev. trim indicator goes up, and when I nose down it goes down.

I just never noticed it before and you prob. didn't either.

Go up, plane slows, slow plane up trim.

Go down, plane go fast, plane down trim.

Very much like.

Push stick forward plane go down.

Pull stick back plane go up.

Pull stick back more , plane go down really fast.

Trim does not move with speed when combat trim is off.It will not move unless you move it, or auto pilot moves it.

All combat trim does is simply have a table that moves trim to position X when ever the plane is at speed Y.

I think he's saying his trim is moving with Combat Trim off. In which case it may be mapped to a joystick axis on accident.

With combat trim on or off your trim tabs will move.

Just as HiTech explained it already.

They always moved.

You just recently noticed that they do.
