"Relief Tubes"
« on: June 24, 2010, 09:14:37 PM »
Seems like an interesting idea for long "stretches" at the console (pun there)

From "Buffaloes Over Singapore"

Quote
"Mowbray Garden just couldn't keep still. I remember he wanted to urinate fairly often when he was flying. They had relief tubes in the Buffaloes and the groundcrew got a bit browned off with having to flush his relief tube out, so they turned the venturi round - a venturi, in short, accentuates or concentrates a volume of air through vacuum - so anything that was introduced near its point of entry was sucked in with violence.  I think Mowbray was hospitalized for a day or two."
I get really really tired of selective realism disguised as a desire to make bombers easier to kill.

Then there is the story of the 4th FG 51 pilot who taped his relief tube on thinking it would save time.  It got cold, then warm, then numb, then swollen.

Getting out of the cockpit was a bit of a problem and he was out of action for a time as well :)

LOL!!  Almost sounds like one of those "enlargement" scams I've heard other people get e-mails about.

I have a surefire enlargement technique.  Take one 2 quart mason jar and 1 bee.  Put bee in jar and put a lid on the jar.  Shake jar.  Remove the lid and insert manly bits.  Wait for pinch and congratulations :aok enlargement! :rofl

Ever since the 'Longbow' scenario from days of old, I've always had an empty gatoraid bottle or something with a large neck near the computer for events.

I've never used it (but still had a bottle ready) until this month during the 2nd frame of the Normandy FSO. Let me just say it came in real handy.  :D

(thankfully, the computer is on a different floor than the wife and daughter and they were also fast asleep)

It was a well known fact that buffalos needed larger relief tubes.

Del. I belive the only times a man should ever relieve himself in a bottle is....
1. When fishing on a lake and you are in a huge school of fish and you don't want to go to shore.
2. When on the road and you have to make good time.
3. See Bill of rights, tenth amendment and find a way to apply it here :)
