CH pro pedal width

I noticed a few guys saying the pedals arent wide enough, as I also thought.

If you have some scrap 5/8's ply, or 1x8, you can widen the pedals fairly easily. I used 2 peices of 1x8 about 8" long. Loosen 4 of the screws on the top of the pedals(grey part)(make them stand up a bit higher) Take a circular saw and cut slots in your pieces of lumber to except the heal portion. Locate the 4 holes on the lumber by pressing them against the pedal(The screws will leave a mark) drill holes at the marks, remove the screws and fasten with longer screws.

Doesnt take that long, and you can make them more comfortable

Nice idea Camel, sounds like I have something to play with this weekend  

BTW, while cruisin thru CHs' web site I notice that the "new drivers to support toe breaks" has been replaced with a "Toe Breaks next release"  next to AH. Anyone want to speculate on whether that means AH will build in the capability or is CH just putting it off again?

Thats what I hated about the CH pedals I had. Seemed they were made for a 5' tall woman.

I have a set of these Hoffmans. The width is much better....

Hey hblair ... what stick are you using with those pedals? I'm thinking about getting them, but I just want to make sure they are worth it. I'm using an MS Precision Pro now and also have a CH Combat Stick (USB) and a CH Fighter Stick.

Would you recommend the pedals?

Using them with an microsoft force feed stick. They work great, customer support is awaesome too. You deal with the guy who owns the company. I bought mine used off a guy who used to fly aces high. I couldn't get them setup just right, so I emailed Mr. Hoffman. He sent me the entire electronic mechanism *free of charge*. Said he just didn't want an unhappy customer out there. They work great now.

Yes, I would recommend them exlie...
