How common are hack attempts while using aH?

Starting to get very worried.
War! Never been so much fun. War! Never been so much fun! Go to your brother, Kill him with your gun, Leave him lying in his uniform, Dying in the sun.

Sometimes nothing; Sometimes 30-40 times in evening.

I'm not a pro in these things but it looks like I'm safe (at least now...)

When you are online, it is critical that all Windows file shares, or any services that allow access to your system, are either protected with passwords or disabled altogether.   Steps for Windows 9x users to disable file sharing are as follows:

1.  Go to the Control Panel and double-click the Network icon.

2.  From the Configuration tab, click on the "File and Print Sharing" button.

3.  Make sure the box next to the option "I want to be able to give others access to my files" is NOT selected.

After you do this, go to ShieldsUp site and check your system, like Staga did.  If you see what he sees, you're relatively safe from crackers.  Of course, you're never completely safe until you pull the ethernet cable out or your modem disconnects.
