Wurz,
Have you looked at what coleman has to offer,ya I know maybe not the best stuff but they have an extensive line of products to look at and then if you find a design that fits the bill you can always check for a "better" unit.
Coleman has a semi pontoon unit that seats 2 with comfort, room for a cooler and can be powered with a trolling motor or paddles. They even have several pedal boats that work like a bike, point is unless you really want or need a yak there's plenty of alternitives.
If you want some real fun,try a float tube! Even a small fish will pull you around unless you use your flippers to stop it!
Not a bad option Morf - prefer to be in a single seater, so I can get some space away from wife's talking lol.......dont get me wrong, love her to death, but she talks too much at times (yes, I've told her too lmao)
Found a kayak with a motor on it already, only concern with that is if I'm camping for a few days, once it runs out of juice, I'd have to paddle (yep, I'm lazy snicker)
That said, found a couple of "cheaper" options, which I"m investigating now. It would be simpler if I was closer to a lake - think test rides etc. Found out the cost of the hobie, 2949 - which aint cheap lol....
Thanks for keeping me grounded, always appreciated.
