I bought my X-52 used, have owned it for 2 years, and have not once ever had any kind of problems.  I incorporated a set of CH pedals as well..
For lube, I have an old bottle of dish soap..  The hardened soap on top works fantastic and gets rid of any squeaks or anything..  Love this stick and will
be sad when/if it breaks..

I'm fond of the CH pedals as well..  If their sticks are half as good as their pedals, that's probably what I'll be getting next..

Thanks everyone for your opinions, ideas, and experiences.  After reading through this thread it helps alot.  I'm glad I asked!

I think I'll try some of the lithium based (Non Petroleum) lubricants mentioned on that "Disk" on the X52 and see if that solves it.  Sounds like a good idea!  :aok If that works ok, then I think I'll stick with what I've got until I can read more reviews on the Warthog...and if the time comes that I can get ahold of one of those and I've read good things about it...maybe I'll give that a shot then.  :joystick:

Thanks guys!  :salute

I found out that "Berts Bees" underneath that slider of my X-52 works extremely well. Just a bit of it goes a long way. I tried this out over a week ago and it's working as smooth as glass. No squeaking or sticking anymore! It's cheap and non petroleum as well!   :airplane:
